Frequently Asked Questions

Before you book

How do I book a tattoo appointment?

The quickest way to reach us is through the contact form on our website, by calling 0877 770 006, or by sending us a message on Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp. Tell us a little about your idea and we’ll pair you with the artist whose style suits it best.

Once you and your artist have agreed on the design, the size and the price, we’ll ask for a deposit to hold your date. Your artist then prepares the final drawing and shares it with you shortly before the session, so there’s still room for small changes.

Step by step:
  1. Send us your idea and a few reference images
  2. Get an artist recommendation and a price estimate
  3. Choose a date and pay the deposit to secure it
  4. Review your design before the big day

Can I talk to an artist before I decide?

Of course. We’re always happy to chat before you commit to anything. Drop by the studio in District 1 or send us a message to set up a time — if you’re not in Ho Chi Minh City yet, we can talk online. It’s the perfect moment to go over placement, size and style, and to make sure you feel comfortable with your artist.

What should I send when I contact you about my idea?

The more we know, the easier it is to plan your piece. When you get in touch, try to include:

  • A short description of your idea, or the story behind it
  • Where on your body you’d like it
  • The approximate size, in centimetres
  • Black & grey or colour
  • A few reference images you like

Planning a cover-up? Please add a clear photo of the existing tattoo as well.

How should I prepare for my tattoo session?

Get a good night’s sleep and have a proper meal before you come in — your body copes much better on a full stomach. Drink plenty of water, and skip alcohol for at least 24 hours beforehand, as it can thin your blood.

Wear loose, comfortable clothes that make the area easy to reach. For longer sessions, bring a snack, a drink and something to keep you entertained.

Is there anything I should avoid after getting tattooed?

For the first two weeks, treat your new tattoo like a healing wound. Stay out of pools, the sea, saunas and hot baths, keep it away from direct sun, and take a break from workouts that make you sweat heavily or stretch the skin in that area.

Most importantly, don’t scratch or pick at any flaking skin — let it come off on its own.

Can I get tattooed in hot weather or just before a beach trip?

Yes — lots of our clients get tattooed while they’re travelling. You’ll just need to take extra care while it heals: keep the tattoo covered or in the shade, don’t swim until it has fully healed, and save the beach days for later.

If you have an island trip planned, the ideal is to book your session at the end of your stay rather than at the start.

How does a tattoo over several sessions work?

Large or highly detailed pieces — full sleeves, back pieces, realism — are usually done over several sessions. We plan the whole project with you from the start, then build it up step by step, leaving a few weeks between sessions so your skin can recover.

Before you begin, your artist will explain how many sessions to expect and how pricing works for your project.

I saw a tattoo on someone else or online. Can you do the same one?

We’re happy to use it as inspiration, but we don’t copy another artist’s work line for line — out of respect for the original artist, and because your tattoo deserves to be yours alone.

Show us the reference, tell us what you love about it, and your artist will create a unique design with the same feel.

How do I look after my new tattoo?

At the end of your session, your artist will cover the tattoo and explain exactly how to care for it. As a general rule:

  • Wash it gently with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap
  • Pat it dry with a clean paper towel — never rub
  • Apply a thin layer of the aftercare cream your artist recommends
  • Keep it clean, moisturised and out of the sun until it has fully healed
